You need to be ready to load and depart ASAP @ 3:00 pm.  We will be staying at Spring Hill Suites, Overland Park, KS 913-491-0010.  Bring extra $$ to supplement your $3.50 meal allowance.  We will do rehearsals after dinner on Friday evening.  The hotel does have an indoor pool.

Saturday, May 1        Blue Valley HS

This is up and early departure for BV.  We have to be @ the school by 7:15 a.m. to do warm ups—draw starts @ 7:30 a.m.  There are 3 prelim rds + semis+finals.  It will be a very long day!  We will be home after 6:00 pm.

Directions:      Go north on Topeka Blvd to 46^th st (Stop Light)—turn left and go to the stop sign.  Turn right—the high school is less than a ¼ mile on your right.  Go in the main entrance—you’ll see the commons where you’ll meet.

Wow–what an awesome weekend of forensics w/many of our new “babies” getting baptized at their first tournament!  They all had an awesome showing!  The THS Forensics Squad broke 14 to finals.  Sweepstakes pts. between 1-3rd place was a spread of 7 pts.  What if you had worked harder or maintained consistency w/ your good score(s)?  We’ll be working on this!!!!
